WEB ANALYTICS ACCESS FOR BOOMCYCLE
Step 1: Open Your Settings in Google Analytics
Sign in to your Google Analytics account and choose the site for which you’d like to grant access:
Then, click the Admin option.
Now you’ll notice there’s a User Management link under every column. That’s because there are 3 levels of access: Account, Property and View:
The Boomcycle team requires edit access at the Account level
To grant that, click the Account Access Management link under the Account column.
Step 2: Add Permissions to a User
Now you’ll be asked to enter the email of the user to whom you’d like to give access. You can give permissions to manage users, collaborate, edit or read and analyze. The Boomcycle team will need Edit access.
First, click the “+” icon.
Then, click “add new users” from the drop-down.
Finally, add the email address you want to share access to.
You can select Notify this user by email to send a notification to each user you’re adding. Then, click Add.
Step 1: Navigate to search.google.com and log in.
Step 2: Select the correct property from the “search property” drop down.
Step 3: Next, select the settings of your web property.
Step 4: Under settings select users and permissions.
Step 5: In the Users and permissions settings click the three dots next to an owner’s email address:
Step 6: Add a new owner
This loads the manage property owners screen where you can add a new verified user by clicking the add an owner button:
Step 7: Notify the Boomcycle team that access has been granted.
The Google Tag Manager (GTM) platform lets marketers install and adjust tags on your website. These are essential for website improvements, form tracking, and platform integrations (such as Google Analytics)—without requiring code adjustments on your website.
Step 1: Log Into Your Account
First, log into your Google Tag Manager account at https://tagmanager.google.com/.
Step 2: Enter Account Administrative View
You can also jump straight to the administrative view by clicking on the cog icon next to the account.
Step 3: Select “User Management”
Under the “Container” tab, click on “User Management.” Here you can add users, remove users, modify permissions, and view a full list of everyone who has access to your account.
Step 4: Click the Blue Plus Sign
Click the blue plus sign button in the top right corner of your screen, and select “Add users.” This will bring you to the GTM invitation.
Step 5: Enter User Information
Enter the email address of the user(s) you would like to add. The Google Tag Manager invitation will go directly to their email address.
Step 6: Set Permissions
The Boomcycle team requires Publish access to your GTM container. You grant this permission by clicking the checkbox as in the screenshot below
Step 7: Click “Invite”
Finally, click the blue “Invite” button to send account access. Once they accept the invitation, your agency will then be able to start working in your Google Tag Manager account.
