Access for Boomcycle

In order for us to learn what’s happening with your website and business, we need some access to your Google Accounts. This document walks through the process of granting access to the Boomcycle team for existing Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Ads, and Google Tag Manager accounts.

Granting Access to Google Analytics

How to Add Users in Google Analytics

Step 1: Open Your Settings in Google Analytics

Sign in to your Google Analytics account and choose the site for which you’d like to grant access:

Then, click the Admin option.

Now you’ll notice there’s a User Management link under every column. That’s because there are 3 levels of access: Account, Property and View:

The Boomcycle team requires edit access at the Account level

To grant that, click the Account Access Management link under the Account column.

Step 2: Add Permissions to a User

Now you’ll be asked to enter the email of the user to whom you’d like to give access. You can give permissions to manage users, collaborate, edit or read and analyze. The Boomcycle team will need Edit access.

First, click the “+” icon.

Then, click “add new users” from the drop-down.

Finally, add the email address you want to share access to.

Step 1: Navigate to search.google.com and log in.

Step 2: Select the correct property from the “search property” drop down.

Granting Access to Tag Manager

The Google Tag Manager (GTM) platform lets marketers install and adjust tags on your website. These are essential for website improvements, form tracking, and platform integrations (such as Google Analytics)—without requiring code adjustments on your website.

Step 1: Log Into Your Account

First, log into your Google Tag Manager account at https://tagmanager.google.com/

Step 2: Enter Account Administrative View

You can also jump straight to the administrative view by clicking on the cog icon next to the account.

Step 3: Select “User Management”

Under the “Container” tab, click on “User Management.” Here you can add users, remove users, modify permissions, and view a full list of everyone who has access to your account.

Step 4: Click the Blue Plus Sign

Click the blue plus sign button in the top right corner of your screen, and select “Add users.” This will bring you to the GTM invitation.

Step 5: Enter User Information

Enter the email address of the user(s) you would like to add. The Google Tag Manager invitation will go directly to their email address.
