Boomcycle Digital Marketing builds websites, runs SEO and manages Google Ads for Menlo Park businesses, design-build contractors included. We’re across the bay in San Ramon and Pleasanton, and I’ve been doing this since 2003.
Menlo Park is home to Sand Hill Road’s venture firms. Most people searching here aren’t investors, though. They’re homeowners looking for a contractor, parents looking for a dentist and neighbors looking for a decent lunch on Santa Cruz Avenue. In a city this small, there are only a few spots on the first screen of Google for any given search.
A design-build firm in the Willows and a dental office in Sharon Heights have the same problem. If a customer finds somebody else first, that’s who gets the call. I built Boomcycle to be the agency I’d want to hire if I ran your business. Here’s what that means day to day.

Be the business Menlo Park customers find for what you sell, in the regular results and in the AI answers that now sit above them.

On a “near me” search, the map decides who gets the call. We work to put you in those top three spots.

Custom websites that load fast, read well on a phone and make it easy to call you, with SEO built in from the first page.

Calls and form fills this month while your rankings build, with every dollar reported in plain numbers.

Not sure where your budget should go first? A strategy session gets you a plan you can run with, whether we run it or you do.

See which calls, forms and sales came from which channel, so you stop paying for the ones that don’t bring in customers.

Articles and pages that answer what your customers are asking, written so Google and AI tools can quote you.

Video and drone footage that shows your business at its best, made for your website, YouTube and social ads.

Search catches people who already want what you sell. Social puts you in front of the ones who don’t know it yet.
Plenty of Menlo Park businesses have a website that photographs well and does nothing. Contractors feel it most. The best project photos sit in a gallery nobody scrolls, and the phone doesn’t ring.
My team designs and builds custom websites for Menlo Park businesses and contractors that load fast and make it easy to call or ask for a quote, even on a phone. SEO goes in from the first page instead of being bolted on after launch, so buyers can find the site from day one. Accessibility goes in from the start too, because in California an inaccessible site can get a business sued.
Most business websites we build start at $5.5K, and I’ll tell you what yours needs before you invest a dime.

A Google Ads account nobody’s watching can burn a month’s budget on searches that were never going to buy. My team runs Google Ads management for Bay Area businesses with one goal: more calls and form fills for the money.
Almost certainly. The City of Menlo Park says that with few exceptions, every business located, operating or doing business inside city limits needs a valid business license. Run it from home and you’ll also need a home occupation permit before you open. For a general business, the annual tax follows gross receipts: $50 a year for up to $25,000, capped at $8,000.
It depends on your lot. Menlo Park’s sign rules base the allowed sign area on the lot’s street frontage, and new or changed signs have to meet standards for size, materials and colors. You apply for the permit online. If you’re rebranding, line up the permit before the new logo goes up, so your website, your Google Business Profile and your storefront all change together.
Yes, and it’s a big part of what we do. Three of the four sites pictured above belong to trades businesses: an electrical and home automation company, an insulation contractor and a plumber. A contractor’s site has one job. It has to turn a homeowner’s search into a call or a quote request, and that’s how my team builds them.
Yes, as a service-area business. Google says you should hide your address if customers don’t come to you, then list up to 20 service areas by city or ZIP code. You can’t use a radius, and Google says the whole area shouldn’t stretch much past about 2 hours of driving from where you’re based. Local SEO does the rest.
Yes, and businesses with a physical location carry the most risk. California’s Civil Rights Department says courts have applied the Unruh Act’s accessibility rules to websites tied to businesses with physical locations, and the damages start at $4,000 per offense, plus attorney’s fees. It’s much cheaper to build a site right than to defend one.
They can. California’s wiretap law, Penal Code section 631, still lets private plaintiffs sue, with damages of $5,000 per violation. SB 690, signed September 30, 2026 and taking effect January 1, 2027, narrows a different kind of claim and leaves section 631 alone. The safe setup is one where tracking waits for a visitor’s consent. Your attorney should have the final word.
Most business websites we build start at $5.5K. SEO and Google Ads management are monthly programs, priced by how competitive your market is and how much ground there is to cover, and our pricing page has the details. Our agreements are month-to-month, and I’ll tell you which option fits before you invest anything.
We work with businesses all over Menlo Park, downtown along Santa Cruz Avenue, in the Willows, Belle Haven and Sharon Heights, and across the rest of the Peninsula, including Palo Alto, Redwood City, Mountain View and Silicon Valley.
